I have to say this was a big help, I haven't played a NBA game since jam and just picked up 2k21 since it came with my ps5. I had shooting down but was just trying to get on some of the other functions. I still have an issue with going for a dunk and instead ending with a lay up on occasion but the rest I've applied and made my game much better thanks man

To anyone upset, you can change the shot stick to the timer by tiring shot aiming off in the settings. I can’t believe they even tried to add that bull shit in

This is my first 2k game, normally only RPG/Fighting. Madden was the only sports have I normally played (RIP that series, I'll always remember you Madden 07). The thing for me that made it easier was accepting your player shouldn't/can't always save the game (at first). Slowing down and relying on other players helped. Then again, I'm a slasher/def type guy. So, I don't have to worry about shooting lol. I'm just hyper aware of spacing, closing/opening them whenever possible. Also... FUCK Dame Time when he plays at home in a close game 😭😭😭.

This game is impossible, I keep missing my shots then losing the ball, I get Fs every single game and I’m not getting any better.

I hate this game so much i deleted it because my shots were missing wide open despite a good release on the line with high rated shooters, i feel when you are wide open with a good shooter you take it but they make him miss because of that zone garbage but who remembers every players hot zones by heart. It is to much for a video game and just ain't worth that type of time investment. The last NBA 2K I enjoyed was 2k 16. I played 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and they all have ridiculous problems from how you call plays to just shooting or dribbling turn overs. 2k21 is better than 2k20 but the shooting system is just to much not only you got to hit the shot meter but you need to be in the right zone for that shooter and it is just a little ridiculous
