Did you know that in LUCA... Alberto shakes Luca's hand and says, "Piacere, Girolamo Trombetta." That's actually a popular joke among Italian kids in the 1970s -- and means, "Nice to meet you. I'm twisty trombone." Girolamo sounds like "giro la mano" -- or "twist the hand" -- and the joke is to shake the hand back and forth as if sliding a trombone. Trombetta also means "fart" -- making it even funnier.

I'm Italian, from Rome specifically and I'm pretty sure Trombetta doesn't mean fart, what you probably heard is Dante Alighieri using it in the inferno (first part of la divina commedia) as a metaphor describing infact a fart. The verse are "Egli del cul hanno fatto trombetta", that translated is "them, of their ass, made a trumpet"

There is also "Girolamo pompetta" in which you squeeze the hand of the person two times while saying the "pompetta" part like "pom-petta" because "pompa" means pump.
