Timeless. I’m 43 and this still brings me back to Christmas 1992 every single time. Thanks mum and dad.

Over 25 years later and this still gives me chills. How the composers managed so much intensity in their arrangements while maintaining such simplicity is beyond me.

A full thirty years later, this stuff still slaps so hard. Honestly one of the best video game OSTs ever. It's amazing what they could do with such little hardware.

This and F Zero X are the greatest soundtracks in video game history.

That Mute City theme (0:50) is still killer after all these years. Very catchy track.

I remember playing this game when I was a kid growing up. I was about 12 years old (I'm almost 39 years old today) now my 9 year old son plays it together with me 🙏🏽☮️❤️

What's really amazing is that I can mentally see where I would be on the track depending on where the beat is, such as I can hear a jump, a power-recharge pit, etc...

A lot of SNES OSTs have redundant tracks and clips. This is a solid OST to listen through as an album. Amazing tracks!

As a 37 years old man, I had the privilege and luck to play NES, SNES and N64 back then... I can say for sure nothing beats or even comes close to SNES era... yeah NES is great and all, but due of its limitations and the fact that even having so many great games, it also has a lot of mediocre/forgettable games... N64 was such a culture and technology change, but again, has a very limited number of really good games, those that are good are pure masterpieces though... but SNES man, oh boy! It was the era were game companies and devs really put the effort on creating fun, challenging, memorable games, amazing music, stories, pinnacle of 2D graphics
