One of the first places I visited in Greece the first time I went was Samos. A family wanted me to stay with them. I did not know Greek then but took everything in. I wanted so badly to speek the language and I can speek it fluently today just as well as a Greek. When I first heard this song, memories came back to me. I was so well taken care of, loved by the whole family. How can one forget this song. I began to learn Greek quickly because they could not speak another language but Greek. Thanks to my early beginnings as a teenager, I now can speek very well and even remembered the gesters and the words when I came back to Canada. I have been as far as Mainland China and as close as the U.S., but I love Greece the most. I have been there 5 times since. I would go back anytime, hopefully as soon as possible. Believe it or not, you are my favorite Country as well as unbelievalble well-to-do people. God Bless you all.

I must add that Elia Kazan had put a street peddler sing this song in the movie "A Streetcar Named Desire". I got excited when I first realized it, just a tidbit of information.
