Omen is always gonna be one of the best agents in the game as long as he has his TPs

As an Iso main, I’ve noticed that Iso isn’t effective in 1v3, 1v4, or 1v5 situations. He performs well in 1v1 or 1v2 fights, but his power significantly drops when Killjoy or Cypher are on the enemy team, reducing his effectiveness by about 50%. Iso struggles against their utility and map control.

Additionally, Iso heavily depends on good aim and movement. Without these, he becomes almost useless since his kit doesn’t provide much utility to compensate. Unlike other duelists like Jett, Yoru, Raze, or Reyna, Iso lacks mobility tools to reposition quickly and doesn’t have any flashes to gain an advantage in fights. This makes him less forgiving and harder to play against coordinated setups or utility-heavy strategies.

as an ex viper main, I gotta tell you that Viper feels like hell to climb with, especially when Icebox and Breeze are out of rotation. You are FAR FAR better off just picking Omen or basically any other controller unless you get a double controller comp.

This strategy works extremely well on all maps with his wall’s new alt fire. If I’m being honest, Iso deserves another nerf.

Vyse main here, best advice, for defence use ur wall and flash, to fight one side of the map, and thorns to delay another.

So bind, put your wall on a diagonal from the TP to the box on short, and have your thorns in showers.

Or thorns for hookah drop, and a deep wall b long combined with a flash.

Her kit is better catching people of guard.

Another useful tip for offence, is lineups for her thorns, and knowing when to have a flank watch wall, or keep the wall to delay retakes.

If you know you are playing against a Jett, and know how she entries sites, you can use your thorns to make her committed to her play. Best example I can give is on ascent, you thorn off switch on B site, combined with a flash through market, making it very difficult for her to hold the space she claimed. Thorns combined with molies, or even more recent, Tejo, can just be a confirmed kill in most situations.

One of my favourite setups is on C on lotus, my duo plays tejo on B, I setup on c, and when I call my thorns, he uses his tejo ability to just get free kills. This also gives tejo the ability to contest rubble, and instantly break the connector door to support rubble.

Astra for controller players is underrated right now. Ranking up usually means having to carry, which is hard when the enemy doesn’t hit your site. Astra is really strong for being able to basically be anywhere with her kit.

She’s also one of the best controllers on 3 of the current maps. If you know how to play her, she’s better than Omen on some maps. Omen is overall stronger tho since he’s way easier to get value out of.
