I doubt Dave will ever read this but I just want to tell you how much you meant to me this year. My mom passed in April from Covid. I was a huge nirvana fan and love the foo fighters too, Your music, videos, documentaries and autobiography helped me get through the worst year of my life. When you play the drums it soothes my soul. Thank you.

God these two are talented. Everyone talks about Dave (and yeah he’s incredible) but Greg Kurstin is amazing too. Thanks guys!

For the love of God, is there nothing that Dave can’t do!!! The McCartney of his generation, musician/ drummer/ guitarist/ lyricist/ front man and author. Don’t know why he doesn’t do a cover album, he brings a fresh look on classics! Can’t wait to see him live next year in Philly!

Dave and Greg are living out the fantasy of every kid that ever sang to the radio, in their bedroom with the door closed.

During the dumpster fires of 2020 and 2021, Grohl was a bright spot - The DGs, Nandi drum battle, Hanukkah Sessions…. Thanks Greg and Dave!!!! I’m already looking forward to the Hanukkah sessions 2022.

One thing is certain - he's still a phenomenal drummer.

I wasn't even much of an FF fan, but still liked Dave a lot as he seemed very authentic and kind to his fans. Love his take on these older songs and have a much greater appreciation for how (super) talented he is. Thanks, Dave!

Hell yeah, great choice. This is my favorite Clash song. First time I heard it was watching Rodney Mullen skateboarding in Almost Round 3.

Obviously we all enjoy these covers by two really awesome musicians. But what I'm really grateful for is that they are introducing these songs to a younger generation that hopefully go out and discover the originals as well as other songs from the original artists.

Dave is one of those musicians, who has this love of music that is just contagious. Every time I see him play or hear him talk, he is one of those people that make me feel music in a way most of them can't.
