I’ve been in a year long struggle with sickness, well it’s also my wife’s struggle too. I’ve been in the Emergency Room 12 times in the last year, had 7 cat scans with contrast dye. I’ve been on antibiotics for over 6 months in that year too. My diverticulitis attacks went from every 2 to 3 years to monthly this last year. I’m now experiencing another attack that is painful as usual but in different areas. I’ve lost 35 pounds, eat once a day and have lost desire in all areas of my life and sleep is not good. Depression and hopelessness are getting worse. I’m praying to the Lord daily for healing and my church as well. I have an appointment for a colonoscopy finally but they can’t give me a date until they get some cancellations. I’m losing hope and dread having to go back to the ER again. Please pray for me and my wife, she was also laid off from her job of 17 years to make matters even worse. May God bless all of my brothers and sisters in Christ who see this prayer request.
