Baty hits like he's Ted Williams during spring training and in the minors. Hopefully he can finally figure it out in the big leagues this year.

Play Brett Baty at 2nd and rotating at DH so he gets to bat every game... Could spell Vientos in doubleheaders as well... I like Acuna too so it's going to be up to Mendy who he'll keep on the team... I just feel that Baty gives you the power up and down the lineup that you need against top teams like the Dodgers and Braves for instance in the national league... I mean having Lindor, Nimmo, Soto, Alonso, Vientos, Alvarez (when he's healthy again), Baty plus 2 others from amongst those in the team is a pretty good lineup.

OK that looks like MLB form. Mets can continue to be elite fielders and disciplined plate guardians. This could be the best Mets team I ever knew, I'm a spry 68. Mets fan since World's Fair of '65
