The BMW M5 is not tuned. It is lowered and Schmiedemann exhaust. Top speed limiter in place.

Ferrari FF was having its stability control completely disabled and sport button pressed.

We also races tuned BMW M5 Monte Carlo Blue BMW M5 F10 vs this stock Singapore Gray BMW M5 F10 and also Monte Carlo Blue BMW M5 tuned vs Ferrari FF. Stay tuned.

Good comment from facebook.com/GTBOARD YouTubers please study!

"It's a rolling start so Ferrari's traction advantage is neglectable. Also, the torque figure of the BMW is nearly identical to the FF.

In typical Italian fashion, the weight that Ferrari given is completely dry, which with fluids and driver would be more than 150kg extra. The FF also have 3 people onboard and M5 only has two, which would also affect the weight of the vehicles. Having an extra person would have a quite noticeable dent in performance, even if you're driving a 2 ton SUV.

M5s are underated from the factory, so in stock form it would be pushing more than the claim horsepower figures, with an exhaust, it could easily be pushing near 600hp. The 4WD FF also suffers from more drivetrain powerloss compare to M5.

And at last, the higher top speed of the FF means the car is longer geared which reduces the acceleration of the car. Acceleration is highly dependent on the chosen gearbox ratios, which is why race cars don't have Veyron beating topspeed, also explains why rally cars accelerates so fast.

Figures only tell you one side of the story, not how it will actually perform"

Having owned the F10 M5 now for 2 years, I can tell you the car is sickeningly fast for a 4-door saloon. I honestly was not expecting this against an FF what seems to have been driven well... Even if the FF was going to win, it looks like it would be by very little. A simple tune on the M5 and delimited means its a serious contender. The uncut footage helps too. WOW.

One thing to solve mystery: the M5 had TWO people in the car the FF had THREE people in the car.

Funny how people still say the M5 is tuned, here are my few reasons of why the M5 could keep up.

The singapore grey M5 is mine, with me driving it. It is original except KW Loweringkit and new rear mufflers. On this same day, a tuned M5 F10 in blue also raced. It has BMS ECU, straight pipes and AFE Airsystem.
When it raced against the Ferrari it won by A LOT!

I also raced against the blue M5, so you guys who think you know about my car, this and that. Just wait until Gustav Traff release the video were the tuned M5, beats my original. Got damn how I loosed against that.

For information there were several other cars with less horsepower, that won against the FF.

I am a BMW M fan but it is hard for my to believe that the M5 is as fast as the FF. But I love it tho haha!

The only reason why I think the M5 F10 was able to narrowly pass the Ferrari FF is because of its Hp and torque curve. The M5 F10 makes 500 pound feet of torque at only 1500 rpm, and holds the same amount of torque until about 5700 rpm in which all its horsepower (560 HP to be exact) begins to kick in. The M5 also has a slightly faster shifting transmission than the Ferrari FF, which could also give it a slight advantage. On the other hand, the Ferrari FF only begins making its maximum horsepower of 651 at about 8000 rpms which gives it a slight disadvantage against the M5 F10. On top of that, the FF only makes about 4 more pound feet of torque or less (depending on the year) than the M5, and it only starts making its peak torque at about 6000 RPM from which torque begins to drop almost immediately. The M5 is also running on a Twin Turbocharged 4.4L V8, whereas the FF is running on a N/A (Naturally Aspirated) 6.2 V12, which may also give the M5 a slight advantage in rolling races. Oh yeah, and did I mention that a BMW M5 F10 has a slightly more superior drag coefficient than the Ferrari FF? The M5 F10 has a Cd of .33 compared to the FFs .35 coefficient drag.

I find it pretty hard to believe that the BMW won and it was stock.

The M5 faster? Surely that can't be right! Was the FF driver half asleep? 😯

You know what's strange? Either this "stock" F10 M5 is a factory freak or the FF is severely under performing. Club300plus videos show a stock FF pulling up top on a stock Ferrari 458 Italia and we know from GTBoard that a 458 Italia would pull on a stock F10 M5 all the way pretty easily and quickly.

Put 2 and 2 together. I'm thinking the M5 is a factory freak with it's simply lowered with exhaust and downpipes and nicely tuned for 700 hp+.

So a few days ago i saw this FF beating 458 italia and 458 speciale and now this M5 beat him.... So your point is a BMW M5 V8 560hp faster than Ferrari FF 650hp and 458 speciale REALLY

I don't care if the M5 is stock or not. I love how that M5 beat that Ferrari.
