Johnny Marr talks about going to the shops. "Usually I'll just go down and get a yogurt or something. Just something snacky, you know... Just to get me inspired. Then, after driving about for a bit in the Mercedes, I'll decide upon a supermarket and do the whole shop in one big push! There was a time when I wouldn't go anywhere near a supermarket, in case I bumped into Morrissey, but when he finally left the country I was able to once again, you know... shop!" (laughs). :0)

we used to be able to tell what style of music people liked from what clothes they wore.. and if we'd probably get on well with each other

but now most people wear hoodies and you get people wearing t-shirts of bands they don't even listen to, just to try to look cool

i miss the eighties

Love he's proud of his Irish identity as well...yep Fashion plays a big part in working class expression especially in Greater Manchester area and from the era of late 70s onwards...great guitarist too... nearly forgot to mention that😂
