Is Homemade Better? Recreating Porto's Milk and Berries Cake From Scratch

Whether you're a fan of Worth It or a Los Angeles local, you're probably familiar with the iconic Porto's Bakery. We visited LA last summer, specifically, to try Porto's Milk'n Berries cake and other Worth It winners. After our recent Tres Leches Cake Bake-Off video, we felt up to the task to recreate this iconic dessert at home.

I absolutely love this recipe! I tweak it a little so I have half the cake batter and the same amount of milk syrup and whipped cream. I make it a 2 tier cake a little milkier and cover the whole thing with whipped cream. It’s so tasty 😋
