Bought this watch from mark about 9 months ago, I think Orient got it right with this watch as size and weight are perfect. Orient is so underrated and produce some really nice watches for the money. The $ 199.00 I spent on this is a bargain in my opinion. Thanks mark !

Mark, you are a little late in getting this video out regarding the USA :)... I purchased the white dial 3 months ago from the Orient USA website (same price $315.00).. I love it! You're right, the white dial really pulls everything together. I will DEFINITELY visit your site and pick up the coin edge bezel and all black insert... that should top off the look of this watch! The original Mako USA always had a sapphire crystal, enhanced lume and solid end links, so it was already updated from the original series.

I'm looking to replace my Seiko SNK797K which has an ivory-white face and silver hands with white luminescent insets. It's a simple, sleek, elegant design that I really like but as I get older and my eyesight diminishes I find I need more contrast between the hands and the face. This white Mako II just might be the ticket.

The black edged indices and hands make the white dial nicer. Orient's framed day/date window looks more finished than most seikos.
