One correction at 17:10, it won't work in case of 'Rahul' as you would be concatenating null with name1 and name3 which will result in null and not Rahul Dravid

I think Fastload does not allow duplicates because of the restart / checkpoint functionality.
For example: I want to load 100 records and I have defined checkpoint at 20. If the fastload stops after 55th record, it will restart at the last checkpoint - here in this case 41. So it cannot identify the rows that are real duplicates vs rows that it needs to re-write.
