i do canoe trips, one time we got lost and stuck for 3 days. that sucked. but its a fun story to tell now! :)

well, my job in the summer IS camping since I'm a counsellor but I used to go every year with my family to the park near my town
..and I've had so many bad experiences, I can't name one haha

I've gone camping with my girl scout troop a bunch of times. Last year we went to a camp where there was a big circle of platform tents and thnn a pavillion in the center. All I remember is standing under the pavillion only half awake in the middle of the night.

I had slept walked (or whatever the past tense of sleep walking is, lol) barefoot from my tent, and then I couldn't figure out which one was mine when I tried to go back.

Ima loser. ;P

the worst trip that i had, was when our whole family and another family went to a camping ground. and during the night we all woke up to the sounds of raccoons scratching at out tents. it was pretty scary.

once i went camping and the same night that we had arrived to the camp grounds, it was insanely hot and we saw heat lightining... so we left our tent and just drove home for the nigh :] and nothing was stolen surprisingly

Girl Scout camping It was my friend Steph and I's job to cook the cinnamon buns outside in a oven we built (b/c we're girl scouts, we build everything). It was about 7degrees out. Yes, winter camping. Took about 2 hours. We stayed out there the whole time. When we came back inside the cabin we told everyone they weren't allowed to have one because the didn't help us. They all and ran inside. So we ate 3 packages of cinnamon buns ourselves. The girls cried to the leaders. I do not regret anything

well one time while me and my family went camping across canada, we slept at this tiny weird place and it was right at the train all night it felt like trains were going through our tent! it sucked.
and in the middle of the night my dad says, " I've figured it out. From far away it honks the horn once then when its close it does it twice!"

it was soo late but no one got any sleep....

i went camping by this lake, , and it was really windy out during the day so for some reason i went for a walk around the camp sites.. and when ic ame back like 30 min later.. my tent wasnt there anymore i was like wtf i looked around and then i saw this red thing in the middle of the lake.... so i had to get a canoe and some one to help me get it back to shore.... so that was fun... funny story tho haha

I always camping in my RV? does that count anyways my worst was we were at Eagle Lake and i was out there to long and a got really bad sun burns on my legs and had no Aloe Vera!! its hurt so bad to move lol

my brother had a bad experience
he tried to sleep outside, bear grylls style, in a little shelter he made. he got misquito bites all over his body. his wrists and ankles were covered =(

I go camping every year :D Im going to go this weekend actually...I think my worst experience is a tie between a few...

we ran out of toilet paper
we ran into a skunk
we got stranded down river
getting lost on a hike

I camp every year...I've only actually "roughed it" once though that was probably the worst... 5 days with no running water... no bathroom facilities...what people enjoy about that is beyond me. I love camping, as long as there are showers and toilets.. lol

Haha sweet!! I only ever went camping in my back yard, and I went in the house to pee and fell asleep in my bed, so that barely counts...sadly...but we did the whole bonfire and roasting marshmallows thing...it was cool. =]

Haha yeah I have gone camping before and my worst experience was when they put me in a small tent with my cousin who snores loud and then they forgot to put the top on the tent and so whith my cousins sleeping and the dew from the morning soaking our tent I got absolutly no sleep whatso ever

i went camping like 2 years ago wen i wos 12, but it wos like a proper place and it had showers and bathrooms and stuff. So our group for my tent, about 4 of us went to the showers and i thought wen we got there 'crap, ive forgot my toothbrush!'
so i went back to the tent and wen u go in u have to zip it up wen ur in there incase of bugs an shit getin in!
but then the zip got stuck and i was trapped for like ages in the pitch dark, tryin to find the torch..and the god damn toothbrush!
