The BEST way to create a DAY to NIGHT TIME-LAPSE

A few tips to add from my experience working with time-lapses. First, I do not recommend shooting in Aperture Priority mode as he mentioned. The problem with Aperture Priority is that each image will be taken with different camera settings, which tends to introduce bad flickering in the final result. The DeFlicker option in LRTimelapse helps, but it isn't perfect. Second, after importing photos to Lightroom, make sure to click sort by capture time. I have had many times where the photos would import out of order and then export out of order resulting in weird looking movements in the time-lapse. Third, when editing in Lightroom, you do not need to go copy & paste on every image as he said. Simply select the first image you edited, hold shift and select the last image and then click the sync button in the bottom right to sync all edits across every photo. Finally, when exporting from Lightroom, one step he forgot to mention is that you want to make sure to click the rename checkbox and from the drop down menu, select custom name-sequence. This step ensures that each file is named sequentially and helps tell After Effects what order to import the files in. Overall, good tutorial. I learned a few things myself from this. Just wanted to add a few tips.
