A 10 year gap was to much, i loved this Franchise a decade ago

It made no sense to greenlight this movie after a poorly received 3rd movie, especially when its release date was 9 years after that movie.
In that span, John Wick and Mission Impossible have shown that action franchises don't have to suck after you do a bunch of sequels.
It was a complete waste of money.

I was actually surprised by how disappointed I was in this movie. It has everything I love in an action movie: violence, explosions, corny one-liners. I LOVE that stuff. As I sat in the theater, trying to enjoy it, I couldn't put my finger on what was missing. At the end of the day, I think it just lacked cohesion. It just struck me as a lot of unrelated action scenes pasted together at the last minute. I also felt like I was being forced to accept too many new characters without giving them any development. That's my two cents.

I saw the expendables 4, it was exactly what u'd expect. The theatre gave it that great sound it needed...to make it watchable.

The thing about expendable is you no longer need to see it, since it's like roadkill, it's fun to see by the side of the road, but you are in no hurry to see it.

the biggest mistake they made was to kill VAN DAMME so fast in the second one. He should have come back in the third one and beyond.. He did an amazing job as a vilain and it would have made it much more interesting to have a continuity.. a sort of revenge movie where He could have built His own team to get to SLY.. anyway..

I enjoyed it, although obviously megan fox as some elite operative with all her 100lbs and inch thick makeup is as believable as a 10-year old winning the olympics, but imo the movie was fun regardless

Just watching the intro with Megan foxing yelling and being the typical "I wear the pants in this relationship" type of women, it was annoying af and just knew it would go down hill. Then the "Mr and Mrs Smith" fight scene with fox and Statham plus sex scene between then two. Not offense to fox love her, loved her work in transformers but I feel like she did herself dirty or they made her character dirty! Plus cgi backgrounds, hardly no pop up from the cast of old
