Why on earth would you NOT press charges when people sneak in your motel room and stare at you? They are clearly unhinged, old or not, and who knows their real intentions.

$20 a night and he's surprised it has a "BOX TV" (god that made me feel old, lol) with 8 channels and doesn't have wifi. From these expectations I have to assume this happened fairly recently and this makes that rate even more insanely low. I guess this person must be very young, but yes, motels like this are often where people actually live long term when they can't get a "real" lease, or where people hang out to do basically do illegal things. Of course the staff won't care about someone pounding on these peoples' door probably thinking their dealer is crashing in that room. So basically, you get what you pay for.

Thankfully, first I don't travel often. But when I did, I never had a bad experience as these folks. The worst, was finding dried boogers, hair, and dry foot skin. The sheets and pillowcases weren't changed.🤮 I called and requested, clean sheets etc. I was pissed, thankfully I'd read, about always checking sheets, to make sure their clean.

Another time, we stayed in a cheap motel. My infant son had a fever, the tub was gross, with a ring around the tub. I called and requested Ajax to clean the tub myself. 🤮if I owned an establishment I'd make sure, things were clean and maintained.
