I find it very interesting how clear certain things become as I watch someone else's progress.
The moment the colour scheme moved from colourful to blacks, my headache lessened, and looking at the detailed stickers didn't make it wors. Double pages with simply lists and some highlights/differing fonts felt immediately overwhelming. Same with the square format; way too big for me, and immediately it felt like too much.
How the combination of differing font and differing colour made mixed text auto categorise in two different categories for visual searching.
So useful, I wonder how long it would have taken me to figure it out if I didn't have this (or similar) input.
Now to see if I remember any of it to use in my own planning.

For cycle 2, the solid red bands were quite aggressive and overpowering. I wonder if that’s the reason the layout didn’t work. I need to be in a calm and meditative state when journaling. In fact, the pages with stickers only seemed more used than the rest. Just an hypothesis based on a single data point
