I've been lusting over all the beautiful faux fur chairs at z gallerie, home goods, and so many furniture stores, but wanted try and upcycle my current desk chair from Ikea to something a bit more luxe and expensive looking. Watch as I transform my gungy old desk chair into something totally Instagram worthy!

The chair and stool are so cute--love this DIY. To cut the foam a friend told me she had used an electric knife and it worked like a charm.

couple of tips for the seat you can unscrew the seat from the base and put a plane cover over the cushion and staple that to the base and put your fur over it and staple that to either underneath the chair like you did or under the cushion you'd save a lot of fur there and ask for the back you could make it like a slipcover bye covering the front not blowing it but sewing the sides together and then adding a strap to the bottom that could snap to the bottom of the chair that way you could take it off and wash it and then just slide it back on and snapping on to hold it down just a hint but I do like how you did it it looks really nice saved a lot of money

I absolutely love the way this came out!!!! I'm going to do it to a chair I rescued from the trash. A friend was throwing it out and I took it, I didn't take a random persons garbage LOL

I always thought refurbishing was really difficult but you made it look so easy! If you ever do it with fabric that isn't fluffy could you vlog that as well? I feel like that would have to be more precise because the fluff isn't covering everything and I would love to learn how to do that!
