To be fair, it is heavily hinted that the Advent burgers that were popular during their reign was made of human meat, she might be talking about that, and then I'm sure many humans have tried and liked Canadian "bacon" as well.

Everyone talks about why she doesn’t sound whispery or raspy, or how the VA had no direction. May I remind people that Vipers were gene modified to be the Thin Men during the invasion, and probably Advent’s spokesperson is a thin man? So vipers speaking normally is completely plausible to me.
