He’s 100% correct about AI tutor. A huge advantage. Immediate and specific feedback. Uses large amounts of data for each student. Brilliant

Back when I was a kid in school, I was afraid of asking questions. I had so many curiosities but no access to an expert or even sources of information. Sometimes when I asked questions, I was discouraged by the teachers. I think ChatGPT changes everything. Had it been while I was growing up, my entire life would've been different.

There is a book that explains much of the current state we are in. It is Called "The Singularity in Near" by Ray Kurzwiel. Came out 2005.

I hope Sathya, whenever he retires, chooses public service as his post retirement mission. The government and regulators would need visionary, brilliant people like him to help steer and regulate these powerful technologies. Our current day politicians don’t give me much confidence.

OpenAI has about 5 years left in it... before people actually engineer the problems they want to solve

History is our good teacher: when air conditioner was invented 100 years ago, one of the biggest concerns was that controlling the environment was going against God's will: he meant winter to be cold and summer to be hot...Today more than 80% of U.S. homes have air conditioning.

Satya, saying "prompt engineer" will be a new job, sounds nice.. But who the heck is gonna pay average workers to do that? They certainly aren't going to need as many people doing that, as will soon be displaced. Previous forms of AI and mere software-improvements had already automated away most career skills I originally went to school in the 00s for. Now these new forms of AI threaten the remaining careers I've been considering. No one has been able to explain to me how I'm supposed to survive, in the coming years, as this stuff keeps improving..
People like me will eventually RIOT, if policymakers don't create something like an AI Dividend or UBI soon! They need to adapt society for what's coming! Not dismiss concerns by repeating the debunked "new jobs" claim, the status quo isn't gonna keep working! The more AI improves, the less our economic system makes sense, for the average person.

Funny how Satya Nadella's hands started to sweat at the Elon's question 😆. Brillant set of questions overall.

It will create jobs for everyone. That's why microsoft laid off 10 000 workers just in 2023. Real democracy. Leading by example.

Somehow I feel Satyas answer is always meandering towards something and never to the point like Elon musk or even for that matter Sundar. One wonder if that is deliberate or he has a communication problem or doesnt know what he is talking about...
