indeed, very good to have someone to make sure no one gets overshadowed and (even if it's not on puroouse) pushed into the back while others who maybe are more extroverted take up most of the time.
I know that feeling all to well as i am one of those who can get overshadowed by more extroverted friends when we play dnd online, so yeah.. again good to have someone that can pull those that are not the most outward to the front sometimes. that said if they are comftroble sitting back and listening to the conversation, only to poke in with a remark every now and again that's also fine.

It is definitely a challenge for Myth and Council because they rarely meet irl. That is why they all feel quite reserved and awkward to each other even after nearly 3 years. Also the fact that they all came from different background is quite tricky. I still think that both Myth and Council have done great job though. Kiara and Bae are trying their best to connect the members.

In my opinion Myth collabs are not as smooth when it comes to the flow of the conversation, is not that they are uncomfortable dont get me wrong, they have come a long way, and they have supported each other in very hard times. They know each other better than anyone else.

But it seems that they are a little too respectful to each other? myth have 3 introverts, and Calli is too shy to break the ice, so is all in Kiara's hands to work with them and giving them room to talk, compared that to Council and Tempus where they have such simple and casual conversations, that is like they are not even streaming, as Kiara said "myth is like the awkward child"

Yeah, i get it. Sometimes each girl is quiet. Sometimes is Gumba, because she dont really like being around too many people. Sometimes is Ina because she wants to let people talk. Calli, well, shes just quiet when she doesnt know what to say while Ame is the most absent of all, at least it is what ive noticed. Trying to equal things is nice. Youre a good fire chicken, kiwawa. You certainly deserve that halo

huh, now that i think about it, jp members do talk about the same amount with normal conversation. meanwhile in en, 2 members will talk and there's a 3rd wheel.

It feels like the gap between their some of their IRL personalities and hololive personas creates these... how do I put it? unnatural? and somewhat forced interactions. Reminds me of a co-worker luncheon rather than friends night out. The JP crew likely share more IRL things in common, whether it's culturally, hobbies, age group, life stage or interests. Also I would imagine limit their non-streaming bonding opportunities. Many ways to say lack of chemistry.

I feel like they have to accept that they don't have to do stuff as the five of them anymore. They can't force it if they're already tired of each other. There's a reason it took so long to have that final TTRPG stream.
It's fine. JP has cross-generational cliques, they rarely ever force the generation collab. Myth doesn't have to just because Cover forced them to debut together.
But I really appreciate Kiara is the only one who actually bothers to regularly interact with the other Myth girls. Ame is so isolated, Kiara is the only Hololive girl who visibly regularly interacts with her (well, part of it is because Kiara is such an Ame simp so she's always in Ame chat). We only ever see Calli interact with Kiara in Myth. Gura barely streams but before the past two days we only ever saw her collabing with Kiara.
Kiara is the glue of Myth, but I'd really like her to not force the five together. She should just collab with people who want to collab with her.

I feel like Kiara is oversimplifying the JP collabs. JP also has gens that prefer going at it alone or in smaller groups like Gen 2 or Gen 4.

Myth was great when they where a team working with each other and motivated. These days it feels like there slowly drifting apart. Individually there doing ok. for the most part but as a group, not so much. Guru being the most obvious example. She “seems” like she has lost all interest in streaming. It’s almost like she is doing the bare minimum to satisfy her contract. Burnt out maybe. Or health issues. Or she is focusing on internal projects within the company and just doesn’t have the time to stream. Love them all but man I worry about them.
