Not to nit pick, and there was a big improvement between the before and after, but in my view, the instrumentals need to get out of the way of the vocals when the singer is delivering her key lines. And while the ‘After’ IS better, the instrumentals are still burying her voice in the mix, and really need to be knocked down a lot so that her voice can come through more….so that her voice becomes the center of focus (like a sniper looking through a rifle scope), rather than a bunny rabbit camouflaged, hopping through a thick forest and briar patch of sound. (She/the singer is the bunny rabbit, and the briar patch is the instrumentals). And also did you notice the white noise hiss that is running continuously throughout this video? Your microphone that is recording your voice is noisy and is interfering with the overall sound quality, especially when playing the track back, the hiss continues throughout. For a normal podcast/video this might be acceptable, but for an audio mixing channel where you are presenting yourself as a mixing expert, it hurts your credibility as an ‘expert’ when the sound quality of your video is poor.

Question : I usually record guitar and vocals together because it give me the feel and eb and flow in tempo that I enjoy in my music. However when I EQ for vocals I'm obviously also affecting the guitar as well. Any tips on what to do in that scenario would be much appreciated! THANK You!
