Love my 2016 allroad .... buying it out after my lease in a few months

I'm an Audi fan, but that seems a bit overpriced. The price would make sense if it had the S3 engine in it.

I got my 2017 premium plus allroad for 48000, which the dealer gave me a 5000 discount, which is pretty reasonable

Bought one last year, Sports 2L TDI version Auto box 33k miles so far from new. 5 points that i don't like:
1st Stop start, whats the point? At best if in nose to tail stop start traffic it may save the planet a bit, at worst it's down right dangerous pulling out of junctions. Need to have the option to toggle it on /off in the MMI program software.
2. Sat nav, its google driven but its not fully google Satnav and it doesn't configure alternative routes quickly, it insists it knows better when on known routes you know which is the best route, run it side by side with google maps on your phone and you will see what I mean. This isn't an audi issue but Iphone maps, again iphone maps are rubbish in comparison to google maps, apple need to allow google maps on the car player.
3. Black roof rails mark when you put your cross bars on them. Audi know this and deleted the black version as an option. I have black ones and they look good against my white colour but they mark the bars taking the shine off.
4. No Touch screen, manual entry via the control wheel is time consuming and dangerous as you look downwards to do it, yes alternatives for Audi's voice control but unless you speak like the queen it's useless I'm from the north of England. Alternative to entering destinations its better to type them into your Audi iphone app and in put details via your phone audi app and transmit such to the car. Or use apple voice control in carplay mode, (hold down the voice control button for 3 secods and siri comes on), which is far better and avoid the Audi voice system all together - but the google satnav inst on apple carplay
5. The price £42k list price after the bells and whistles for me I got 10% off by hard bargaining, its pricey and the Advent is cheaper with quattro, got mine for £38k but the list price of 42k remains the same for the Car tax purposes, which sends you over £40k to £430 a year car tax in the UK for 4 years.
Lastly : what a great car it drives and rides far better then you can imagine, on the beach towing out my boat, towing is easy on rough muddy tracks camping its a dream, the recent snow was easy, passing a few landrovers up hill!! and its sublime on the motorway. I'm no slouch and I get a combined 47 miles to the gallon based on 33, 000 miles since April 2017 and ive had it everywhere. In launch control, ie select dynamic, press the brake and press down on the accelerator and hold it and release when ready - wow you wouldn't think its a diesel, its fast off the mark. If you drive like miss daisy on the motorway you will get 68 miles to the gallon at 56mph and if around town 43mpg. Tyres for cursing michelin primacy 3 or 4 and for off road which come with the car on 18" rims, muddy tracks and sand Michelin crossclimate - they give a bit of understeer compared to the Primacy 3 but off road add a bit more grip so a better allroad tyre Ive found so far having changed over. (17" wheels tyres are cheaper but also you may get an even better smoother ride limo quality.
One really nice benefit of the the Allroad is their as scares as Rocking Horse shit, so whilst you will see many A4's you will be hard press to come across an Allroad version and its sticks out a mile and is very noticeable it attractions a certain kind of respect from other motorist, so drive it slow to soak up the applause!!! Sad thing could be my last Audi if Brixit turns nasty having owned 4 previous types.

You want to POUR $$$ into a POS, then WASTE your money on this car... watch Doug De Muro on this... AND I made the mistake of buying one.
