Amber Alert is an action thriller distributed by Lionsgate.

An ordinary rideshare becomes a high-stakes game of cat and mouse when Jaq and Shane receive an alert of a child abduction on their phones. Quickly realizing they are behind a car that matches the description of the kidnapper’s, Jaq and Shane desperately race against time to save the child’s life.

Amber Alert stars Hayden Panettiere and Tyler James Williams. The film is directed by Kerry Bellessa and written by Kerry Bellesa and Joshua Oram. Amber Alert is produced by Joseph Restaino, Summer Bellessa, Tony Stopperan, Kerry Bellessa, and Leal Naim.

Amber Alert is in theaters and On Demand on September 27.

I'm not a big fan of that women non stop yelling at her friend in the 2012 version but it was much better than this one in my opinion. I'm not going to give out any spoilers but there was a lot of things that were done that never would have been done in reality.

Very annoying movie!! From the start they followed the car and I waited for the police to come and stop the car but for hours into the evening there was not a single police officer. Didn't they call the police during the day?? And the police responded well, but where are all the police? If you've obviously found the kidnapper's house, why don't you contact the police again and send them your address or location? This is really stupid and strange, it doesn't make sense.😂😂😂😂
