I am so glad you shared that Fatima prayer. I had forgotten that one. A few days ago, it suddenly hit me that the prophecy "the living will envy the dead" is not something we will experience after a great cataclysm; it's something going on right now in the rise in suicidal depression. I came into the Church after struggling with suicidal depression over 15 years back in my teens and 20s. (48 now.) I just recently lost a close friend who struggled over 30 years. This prayer from Fatima is a perfect way to pray for those who are struggling.

❤ I am nearly 70 and I believe I have come to Jesus more than once in my life. I have been on a few retreats that have been my springboard but I haven't always stayed with those feelings. I have finally found my firm faith, I'm doing what I've always wanted and thought I should. God has been so patient with me, thankfully. I fall but I get up again and am even better, praise God! You two are so wonderful I'm so thankful I have found you two and others. Yes Jamelle the Holy Souls are in need of us. Love Fr Michael Gately. I'm hearing this message so much lately - I truly believe the Holy Spirit is doubling up his efforts in these past few years... for myself, included. Even though I came back to the Church 20 years ago, so much has changed in my life (including getting to know Blessed Mary and the saints more) in the past few years! I know I still have so much more to go - and folks like you both, have helped immensely! Thank you!

I agree we need to hear a positive message, but at the same time it is also good to hear we are not alone in our frustration with what is going on in our Catholic Church. When you love the Church it is heartbreaking and we are justified to rant to likeminded people in a loving way. 🙏

Even as a person who's probably close to 20 years older than you I can relate to most everything you've shared here. Discipline, gratitude, spiritual highs, falling back, wondering how I hadn't been familiar with the Saints earlier, Love and devotion to the Holy Souls in Purgatory, needing devotional practices to stay the course. Yes, oh yes!
I'm just grateful that your young family is getting this from you.
My journey was different in that even though I thought I was doing pretty good raising my four children, I've come to a place that I realized how much I failed. That's a whole other story. I know the devil would love to have me dwell on the past, but I must not.
I'm grateful also that you 2 allow us to walk this journey with you. Many blessings can be reaped from your ministry to us. That's why I choose to help financial by being a monthly patreon. Maybe it helps me to think I'm making a difference not only in your families life but other young parents who choose to follow you.

I need prayer please pray for my soul, I am very discouraged with the Catholic Faith, I am very convinced and I know the truth but it hurts so much all I see around within the Church, it makes me want to renounce everything but I know I must persevere, like me I'm sure there are others, but it is so hard when the Truth is being manipulated by the ones that should shepherd us. Thank tou for all you do.
