Hi. Here you can hear the Simplifier DLX in an amateur home recording environment. I bought a Kemper in 2015 and sold it recently. There was no need for all the routing options and huge versatility anymore. The simplifier is my newest toy and I am extraordinarily happy with the tone and feel of this little gem. In the video you can hear how I use it to create home recording mixes. Stock logic plugins have been used in the processing (e.g. additional reverb and eq). I'm not particularly fond of the Boss OS-2, however it's the only distortion pedal I own - bought in 2006 ;)

Do you think it could work for heavier sounds like Lamb of god or similar? From what I've seen in reviews the simplifier is great in clean and mid-drive tones but it kinda lacks that heavy punch for high gain.

Thanks for this! For the AC/DC sound are you using the MS Brit on lead crunch or clean? And are uou using a drive in front?

I’m thinking you’re using the gain from the Simplifier to overdrive your tone? Sounds great but wondered have you tried using an OD or distortion pedal with it?
