Ponsse Bear felling big tree 5,2m3

Nicely done. I often end up swamped with big spruce and a smaller than needed head. It gets it done but it does get frustrating when your trying to fill the bunks of wood greedy long logger trucks. But watching you cut was a priveledge! You make it look easy and made me feel dumb for not thinking about it

I use this techniq sometimes with big yard trees

If the tree (spruce) is 35m tall and holds 71 cm dbrh, it can hol 5.2 m3
If only 30 m tall, it needs to be almost 80 cm dbrh

So the doubts must be in the height of this tree and/or diameter brh....
It is cut 5 logs of timber, and if each log is 5.5m, we have 27.5 m of stem. another piece of pulp and the top can make it to 35m.
But the question is if each log is 5.5 m long....??
Also if the first log holds 1.4 m3, there is no way the second log is 2.2 m3. I think the total combined 1st and second log might be 2.2 m3....
But with all that said, if the tree is 71 cm dbrh and 35m tall, it certainly holds 5.2 m3....

I realy like the felling cut,  I have to try it that way... I have made up another way to do the same cut but have´t thoght about this way.... nice tanks for the clip
