Mr Beast seems like he's basically running the hunger games, except people really do volunteer as tribute.

It really does feel like we live in that squid game world. But we’re the ones being entertained by poor desperate people willing to do anything for money.

I think anyone with enough maturity or emotional intelligence knew that Mr. Beast was a little sociopathic all along. Those videos have no inspiration or motivation other than getting as many kids views as possible.

Yeah this is getting really bad at this point. Jimmy is gonna have to do something to adress the allegations at this point.

From the moment you see Mr Beast and his face, that smile. It doesn't take all this "exposure" from former employees to know somethings wrong.

The more empathy you lose the more you feed something else.

I think a lot of people in the comments are either missing context which is provided in the original video or are oversimplifying the issue. Yes, the solitary confinement was legally voluntary and participants were compensated for their time. No one is debating that. The larger issue, which is largely the focus of the original interview, has to do with the power dynamics at play. It boils down to abusive of power similar to what we’ve seen in Hollywood between predatory producers and actresses. The issue is not that the participants are there involuntarily or without compensation, but rather the morality behind placing a fellow human into potentially life-threatening danger for your entertainment and dangling life-altering amounts of money over their heads like a carrot on a stick to discourage backing-out.

I always had this weird feeling watching any of jimmys content. Like, it just always felt like ther was something else going on behind the scenes.

Not even remotely surprised that it’s come to this. He was never a philanthropist. He was a number farmer and the negligence behind the brand has caught up to him

I mean would it really surprise anyone if he actually was a sociopath? Just look at his eyes, they're completely dead. There's nothing there.

To all of the people saying it was optional, he was told previously that it would be easy, he was NOT told that they would keep the lights on, and he was not told about many of the other things they did to him. The reason why he had blisters as well is because Mr. Beast bassically forced him to run a marathon on it without any preparation. Many other things went also went wrong, like how the ice cream machine started to mildew, the hottub started to fester, and other things as well. If he knew about all of this, he probably wouldn't have done the challenge at all.
