It's a disappointing move. They should rebranded A3 as CC9 (SD710), and NOT CC9e (SD665).

I don't really care for the SoC but AMOLED display and 2 years upgrade for os is great. That's enough to make me buy mi a3. Someone said about ads. That's really the most idiotic comments. There's no ads in Android one phone. I use mi a1 and it get 3x upgrade from Android 7 to 9. And it is the time to buy mi a3.

I'm sure that the A3 lite will feature SD660, as it's the soc used in A2. And last year A2 lite used SD625 (A1 soc)

Don't care about the processor at all. Super AMOLED, NFC and front panel fingerprint reader are the major selling points for me. If not to mention the battery life, headphone jack, stock Android, the lack of things I don't need and don't want to pay for like waterproofing and wireless charging. Looks like a perfect phone for me.
