After the Nashville school shooting, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-New York) expressed his anger about laws contributing to gun violence in the U.S. while in the U.S. Capitol hallway. Here's what happened when Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky) suggested to Bowman that teachers should be allowed to carry guns.

I am a school bus driver and I wish I could carry a pistol to protect my passengers if needed, but I can not. It is against school policy but further more it is illegal to have a weapon of any kind on a school bus federally, not even a pocket knife, unless you are a police officer. I confiscate many pocket knives every single day and it is the same kids who keep bringing them. People don't care about rules and laws until it negatively impacts them. That is why these students continue to bring weapons. This is the same for any weapon from pepper spray to guns. People will think they are above the law until they get in trouble. This is why we should all have the firepower to prevent crime because it will never go away, but we can be better prepared for it.

When you have no real argument, when the facts tell a different story from what you tell, when you need to make your opponent look bad, and when you can do little more than accuse others of exactly what you yourself do, yell, and do not allow your opponent to speak. And, by all means, do not discuss: you'll only prove that you are completely wrong and dishonest.
Bowman is an expert at it.

Ashbey Beasley who was a victim of another mass shooting happened to be in Nashville on vacation visiting family and another gun victim when she started talking on the media microphones, She said in a Washington Post interview “I couldn’t even fully process it, ” Beasley said. “What do you say? Because only in America can you survive a mass shooting and go and make a friend who is the victim of a mass shooting and then go to meet that friend for lunch … and end up in the middle of another mass shooting event.”Sorry I am not that gullible...look into the Smith Mundt modernization act that allows the American Government to create propaganda for it's own citizens.

As always, the Dem shouts and will not discuss -- but he's very practiced at accusations and at throwing lies about "the numbers/data" into his yelling.

The fact: Law-abiding gun owners do not commit gun crimes. The fact: guns do not shoot; criminals and the insane use guns to shoot. The fact: having the right to carry makes everyone much safer. The fact: hundreds of thousands of crimes are stopped, each year, by citizens who legally carry; few of them have to shoot to stop the crime. The fact: criminals will always get firearms; legally carrying citizens provide a huge measure of safety against the criminals.
The fact is: Police cannot protect us from criminals. The fact: Laws do not protect us from criminals.
The fact: Only we can protect ourselves and each other from criminals, and that requires well-trained, responsible, gun-carrying citizens.

But the Dems rarely want to discuss what is true.
