I like that they slowly started to become tight, as opposed to them having a drunk hookup and then going from there. She was the first one to try bringing him back to normalcy with Space Jam and takeout after Anna died, and she understood he was grateful but didn't want company right now. I know the writers' hands were forced with Taylor Kinney's abrupt LOA, but I'm hoping they don't break them up. If he has to leave the show, keep them together but just have him take an executive position that's no longer in the firehouse. They've earned the right to stay together.
