The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, or NATO for short, is a military alliance made up of 30 member states with the common goal of providing mutual defense from attacks by other nations. First formed in 1949, it's primarily been seen as a way to stand up to the Soviet Union and Russia, and counts some of the most powerful militaries in the world as part of its numbers… such as the U.S, the U.K, France, Germany, Turkey, and Canada. As well as providing troops, the countries also grant access to the powerful technologies at their disposal… so, in these uncertain times, it's time to see the full might of the organization as we look at the 15 Most Advanced NATO Weapons.

My parents and my grandfather built the very first B-2 Bomber at Northrop, in Orange county California. They have officially signed notes of thanks from the president. I had a huge poster of it when I was 10 from actually Northrop. Only place it could be purchased. I held on to it up till about 5 years ago to a long time service vet. He helped us move out 5th will to where we live now. His side job. Before he left I gave him my poster. Turns out he collects this stuff. It was rough around the edges but he was excited. Only so many existed. He said he will fix it. I waited all my life to give it to the right person. I am glad one came.

Satellites IMO are the most useful weapons during a war.

I saw the B2 and F117 first when I was kid. There was an AF not far where we lived and watching those planes were just unbelievable! As a kid I thought its a space ship. (I saw like 10)

13:00, Imma correct you right there, the he called it the apache gunship, however, the apache is an attack helicopter, gunships are something completely different, attack helicopters are meant to target tanks and armored targets, gunships however are meant for infantry, attack heli's usually have so AGM's, an mg, etc, gunships however are like the air cavalry you think of when you think of Vietnam [war], except the gunners don't get off, and the helicopter is armed with an mg (copilot controlled and the 2 others)

That thing was loud as hell. On take off it sounded like 200 lawnmower engines taking off.

I say there needs to be a new revolution to make our enimies even more scared than before.

I really wish that people would remember that the Apache helicopter was designed and built by McDonnell Douglas. And that due to improper leadership was acquired by Boeing. Douglas always had the better designed equipment. John McDonnell the 4th signed a bad deal with the Air Force for the C-17 and wasted lots of money trying to develop a plane the ran with a jet engine on one side and turbo prop on the other. We were proud to work there, and was very unhappy with our leadership.

how do you call a very basic bomber more advanced than a f-35, and why was the f-22 not on this?

Don’t think the harpoon should be on this list. Isn’t that being phased out shortly and being replaced with JASM.

As technology develops, technology itself is also the weakness as the gps and satellite systems..

I feel like titling this "most advanced" is a bit of a misnomer. A bunch of these are stalwarts of the USAF and Europe but I wouldn't exactly call the Stratofortress or Apache "advanced" in 2022, and the Eurofighter Typhoon isn't even a fifth-generation fighter jet lol.

Himars is just getting a lot of press lately. It's actually about to be replaced.

The F-35 wasn’t just developed for the US military, it’s 15% British designed & British made, incorporating technology from the speculative Harrier III concept.
