Razer Basilisk V3 Pro - How Much Better than Basilisk Ultimate?

With a new flagship wireless mouse joining the @razer Basilisk family, should you pick up the #basiliskv3 Pro, or the discounted Basilisk Ultimate?

Higher DPI capable sensor means a more precise sensor = better tracking on various surfaces. As such, it benefits everyone, not just playing at very high DPI

I use the baskilisk x hyperspeed and while its a good moue ive grown to hate using AA batteries. rechargeables give like maybe 2 days if im lucky, if unlucky less than 6 hours. this was by far the best video ive seen on this mouse and it made me pull the trigger to upgrade, thanks!

ill be honest thats very small difference between this two.
If some of u dont mind use wired mouse Basilisk v3 it self work perfect with much more cheaper price.
if youre looking for a good and budget wireless mouse ill say go for Basilisk ultimate, reason very simple Ultimate work the same and it comes with a charging dock also the RGB within the mouse is one of the most unique mouse u can ever find.
for me personally i got All 3 because I just like Basilisk series, but in all honesty v3 pro not really worth it simple reason as well because it DOES NOT come with a charging dock, so u have to spend another 100 for a charging dock.
For sure not worth your money, if v3 pro come with a charging dock I would say is Alright for that price.

Question: if you plug in the USB-C cabel, can you use the mouse as wired? I love the design of V3 Pro white, but am not really a fan of wireless mouses for gaming.

Hey! I was wondering, i currently have the basilisk ultimate. The button on the v3 that changes the mouse wheel from tactile to freespin, is that button programmable? Or is it hard set to only changing the mousewheel?

when I plug in that 2.4 ghz dongle my laptop cuts of the internet do you know why?

When turning on bluetooth pairing mode by pressing mouse 4&5 button and the scroll wheel, the manual says that the scroll wheel and the razer logo both light up, but in my mouse only the razer logo lights up. Is it tge case with you as well?

Will the mouse work over wire on a PC with no Razer drivers (like at all)? I want to switch my Logitech MX Master 2S, and one of the things I really dislike about it is that it won't work without Logitech's drivers, which is extremely annoying, if I want to use it on some random PC/laptop or just navigate UEFI.

Hope they makes next time that buttons bevel in reverse. My middle finger barely reaches the back edge of the right button, because slightly small hand and 13 00-14 00 o'clock grip! Maybe sometimes some mouses has some slightly rightward protruding corners towards the buttons from the mouse stem in right-handed models!
