I hear ya. I have a 100 lb. male European imported longcoat German Shepherd that sits in or sleeps on my lap on the couch. I'm 4'11" and not overweight. He has never seemed big until a day I saw a couple pics of us while we were training. He also likes sneakto on the bed after my husband leaves for work and when I wake up, there he is laying their just watching me sleep. 😂😅😊 The icing on that cake... I have 4 females just like him.. you always feel loved and protected ❤

As someone with a Great Dane, I can confirm that big dogs are not very self-aware of their size. In her case, not only does she think she is a lapdog, but she also cannot judge how big an opening is very well. And no, I do not mean she tries to fit through openings she is too big to get through, I mean there are openings she is obviously capable of getting through, but she thinks she cant so she barks at us until we make the opening larger.
