the idea of professional reporter onboard is good innovation idea.
I am ocean materials-scientist/ engineer I most enjoy the drone shots of these amazing boats in different sea states. I know the challenges of operating successfully drone filming at sea and appreciate what professional photographer skill must be - good work and thanks for this video.

Really interesting, there seems very little on the unseen crew member(s) who are bringing us this never seen before footage especially that crazy drone work during the sailing in the southern ocean .

Thanks so much for the explanation of how the brave OBRs have to operate - they do astonishing work and are so important in bringing this crazy, nutty sport to the wider non-sailing public. Much more absorbing than F1 racing.

Great set up of tools! I think even if the equipment are in Pelican cases it must be a beating for it. It seems to hold up. OBR is something I really appreciate and feel that I’m much more part of what goes on. Great work 👍🤗

Great post! Stellar video/photography in this race - it is sometimes easy to take it for granted that we get to see so much of the action. As a very amateur videographer/photographer, I appreciate the share of kit - thank you! ***edited to add ... I cannot even imagine editing on a bucking IMOCA ... makes me a bit seasick just thinking about it!

what are then functions of the helm of these boats. how are they steered when the tiller is not in hand (almost all then time).
