"Tariff free" is not paper processing free. That horror has yet to be recognized. What information will be necessary for each country for each item is another delight the UK will have to acknowlege as a problem it must now solve on its own.

Every change to existing controlling regulations throughout the EU will have to be reviewed and met for existing contracts and future contracts of businesses exporting to the UK. There will be no mercy on this score. The UK will have to develop an expensive bureaucracy to handle it. Small businesses will take a hit coming and going. And, stupidly, services are not covered at all. For once the passenger who flies to the EU from the UK will not be able to continue on in the same flight but will have to debark, present passports and meet the conditions of that locality and that country. More negotiations will be needed. Who will do that? Unknown, but likely it will be individual businesses who will need to step in.

Still, the UK has some tourism, theater arts, culinary peculiarities and museums to beckon visitors wishing to see parts of Britain, Wales and Scotland and it is likely the economy will need to return to those areas for job growth, once the nation has cleared its health problems away. Not the grand economic boost Brexiteers have promised but it may finally allow the British empire lovers to retire into a quiet heap of historical dust. The sooner the UK accepts its place at the end of the que, the faster it can start readjusting to reality.

Yeah its sad for me but it's how a democracy works.. The majority of the UK voted to leave even if a bunch didn't even know what the EU was 🙄. You have to try and move on and progress and make the best of any situation, else all the "nightmare scenarios" would come true.

Someone needs to explain how this free trade deal between Britain and the EU is any different from Britain being a member of the European Customs Union which Britain was a member of ever since the Brits voted for Brexit.

Can't wait until Boris is the laughingstock. I'm tired of trump and the us being on the top of that list.
