Superman is a superhero published by DC Comics since 1938. An alien named Kal-El from the destroyed planet Krypton. He was sent to Earth and raised as Clark Kent by human foster parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent. As an adult, Superman became the protector of Earth, working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent alongside his partner and wife Lois Lane.

*Fun fact:* Speaking of Jack Kirby's Superman, there's a 2000 story from the "Trinity" series in which Supes has an adventure in a space whose art style perfectly imitates the one of the 70's Fourth World comics. It was a pretty wholesome homage to Kirby

Up in the sky superman and superman rebirth by both Tom king and Peter J tomasi superman rebirth with his family are personally for me are my favorite superman stories I read in decades, which I will say till the day I die that both series demonstrate why people love superman as a hero but also a great character & person that people want to follow his stories at least in my opinion. :)
