The Jonas Brothers performed at halftime of Thursday’s game against the New York Giants.
It came one year later than the organization hoped.
The Cowboys asked the group to perform last year for the 25-year anniversary of the Red Kettle Campaign, the event that kicks off holiday giving for the Salvation Army. Personal and professional commitments kept that from happening.
But the group reached out several months ago to see if they’d be welcome to return this year — the Jonas Brothers performed at halftime in 2008 — and were told yes.
Joe Jonas has a role in a movie that’s scheduled to drop Friday. “Devotion” is the story of the first Black aviator in U.S. Navy history and a Medal of Honor recipient.
Charlotte Jones is the chairman of the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation.
“All of this happened to converge and made a great opportunity for us to bring them back,” said Jones, the Cowboys executive vice president and chief brand officer.
