The thing he doesn't realise and Daemon does, is that as important as Daemon is to the Blacks, that pales in comparison to how important Aemond (with Vhagar) is to the Greens. The Greens aren't a viable faction without them

he literally underestimated the man the realm fears, daemon was such a menace and great warrior at that, he was intelligent too and dare i say he goes to battle ready to die if it means killing his enemy. aemond was just arrogant, he was a good warrior but his emotions ruled him, so he was blinded by it, he thought he could take down daemon just because he was younger and had vhagar.

Theres some thruth in his words though. If Daemon and Caraxes are dead who will stand up against greens? Rhanyera and her dragon are just food. Vermithor and silverwing betray the blacks. That leaves sheap stealer and nettles but Rhaneyra already called for her death by breaking guest rights. So his plans had some merits but his execution was terrible..

I always find it funny how the few greens supporters claim that the show makes the greens look bad and the blacks good.
They didn't really change anything with the blacks.
But they did change what the greens did, especially Aemond.
"Oh poor Aemond couldn't control his Dragon he didn't want to kill Luce".
In reality Aemond went looking for Luce's body, found it, scooped out his eyeballs and presented them as a gift to his new fiance' to prove just how manly he was... a 19 year old... scooping out the eyes of a dead 13 year old he 100% tried to kill.
And that's only a small part of it all
