I cant see how going into a country as part of a UN force could be considered a "British Invasion". (Serbia - 1990s)

Manipulative misinformative. This paints us as mad dog empire builders...

The European campaigns were never solo, they were always collaborative campaigns. Belgium didn't exist until 1830, so take the names with a pinch of salt because the places are named with modern names when many just didn't exist.

Many "invasions" where as a consequence of war with another empire that had already invaded the territory we took, and the crusades were called for by the Pope to prevent a Muslim invasion.

So "invasion" and empire building needs context...

Add to that the 1066 invasion of England by what became the French creating the England we know today, who 300 years later turned around and invaded France.. it adds a little more complexity, doesn't it?

Before the Netherlands was the Netherlands or even Holland, it was known as Frisia. According to Historians, Vikings came to Frisia in the 9th century. They established control over all of Frisia, and invaded nearby England repeatedly... Some settling in the north.

In 1871, Germany unified into a single country, minus Austria and Switzerland, with Prussia the dominant power. Prussia is considered the legal predecessor of the unified German Reich (1871–1945) and as such a direct ancestor of today's Federal Republic of Germany.

The United Kingdom was neutral during the Franco-Prussian War, but numerous organisations were formed to provide medical assistance to one side or both during the war. More than £300, 000 of donations was made by the British public to provide for medical services during the course of the war.

Stopped 5 minutes in its just annoying biased misinformation..
