Introducing myself // BookTube Newbie Tag

Hi it's Nicole. Today for a change, I talk about myself rather than books.

It was a pleasant surprise to film this video. It was cosy and nostalgic to think of many early memories of books and reading. I have rarely shared those precious memories with people before today: Why do I love reading in the first place? What were the first books that came into my life? What kinds of stories filled my waking hours and occupied the young minds of mine and my mates' in school?

I hope it's interesting to watch - if this is the first time we meet, glad to have you. If you've known me for years, I bet you never knew any of these!
