-Help researching German consumer protection options for a foreign company

UPDATE: After more discussion, we're probably going to abandon plans to go through the European Consumer Centre since it very likely redundant at best. All the other information still applies.

I'm sure people have mentioned it but wanna point out how Gran Turismo sport was just recently updated. It was an always online title but as the servers shut down, they patched out the online requirement and basically made all of the single player content completely playable offline. May be useful to point out how completely possible it is for AAA devs to do things like this. That and this happened just a few months ago, in stark contrast to what ubisoft will be doing.

Whoever said "more Game Dungeons, less worrying about The Crew" sucks eggs. This is such an important campaign for consumer rights and almost no one else is even talking about it, much less actually DOING something. Ross is doing the lord's work

What we lack is legal safeguards for consumers.

Ross be careful you make sure you don't get scammed by the picking up the tab with emailing the copy of the receipt. It might not happen but some may try to find a loophole making fake receipts and change names for you to keep sending for their "tab".

Ross is my hero at this point. Began watching him back when machinima was still alive and now we're here years down the line and he's actively fighting against an issue not many people are willing to look deep into.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate this; you're a hero to us all. The petition thing is interesting; we have something like that here in the US, too, because there was one a few years back where the government HAD to discuss whether or not we were going to fund and build a Deathstar, because the petition got enough signatures.
