Speaking of oil, of course Dawn itself is largely oleochemical. I think the fatty moieties in it these days are all vegetable-derived. The ethylene oxide used to make their ethoxylated surfactants are derived from natural gas. The sulfur for their sulfonation may in part be scrubbed from petro fuels. The bottle material may be polymerized from gas.

Thank you Dawn team, because I have SEEN and Cleaned some nearly-dead ducklings, with Dawn. Then I set them free in a little swimming pool - and they were delighted! One needed re-cleaning, so he could have "water running off a duck's back." As soon as the city had cleaned up the careless oil dumping which caused the problem to start with - we set them FREE. Otherwise, they would have been, well, dead ducks. Next time you make your series, note that these animals are NOT actors (as hinted below in some of the comments) but real-live sufferers. And yes, DAWN WORKS!

I'm sure dawn is evil and probably tests on animals, but i'm glad that even if they're pretending to care, at least some real animals are getting helped

might want to send a squeeze bottle of dawn to south dakota where an oil leak of monumental proportions has occurred adjacent to the Sand Lake Nation Wildlife Refuge, a wetlands of international importance and a Globally Important Bird Area, currently home to millions upon millions of ducks migrating south.

I fell for Dawn's "ecofriendly" propaganda, until I decided to put their claims to the test: I saw those polished up videos of people cleaning oil off of ducks with dawn. It just happens that me and my wife have a pet duck, Hector. We were so impressed by Dawn's claims, that we decided to try it at home. So we drained the old oil out of our truck, and gave Hector a nice, long oil bath. He really enjoyed it. Well, that stupid Dawn didn't really work. Hector's feathers are still completely caked with oil, even after we fed him over half a bottle of Dawn. All that crap did was make him sick! The way I see it, Dawn owes us at least a free bottle of detergent, and maybe a new duck too, because it looks like our Hector might not make it. We're really upset about this. It's just dishonest and dangerous for this company to be making these kinds of claims.

This commercial is so inspiring. It really inspires me to make change in the world. Oil can be a very dangerous source of energy unlike Hydro Power. Hydro power is the use of water to generate energy that can replace fossil fuels and oil. Hydro Energy is a renewable source, that is highly efficient and that we should be using more. Some dams are already in place but according to studies there is a natural place in every state that a Hydro Energy plant can be places at.
