What Happened to the Hyenas after TLK? - Animatic

It was about time I posted a new video. :P
I worked on it for almost two days. I am tired now.

Only peeps that watched Disney's very popular movie ''The Lion King'' will understand this video. Anyone ever wondered what happened to the hyenas after TLK 1? They were not there during TLK 2: Simba's Pride. Where were they? What happened to them? I have a theory, and it will clearly explain what happened in the video.

After the battle at Pride Rock, the hyenas killed their ''master'' Scar, because they thought he was blaming them for taking over the Pride Lands.
The hyenas fled from Pride Rock from a very long distance. The rain started to fall and it turned off the fire that was burning all around Pride Rock. Shenzi, the pack's martriach, stared at Pride Rock from a long distance. She could remember the words often told to her and her pack: ''Lions are our Enemies.'' Shenzi didn't know if she could trust lions anymore, because, many moons ago, before she was even born, the war between the lions and the hyenas started when lions attacked and killed innocent hyena pups. The hyenas took revange by killing lion cubs. Shenzi's pack hated lions very much, and the only lion they trusted and loved was Scar. But he ''betrayed'' them. Shenzi has lost a huge number of hyenas in the battle. Alot of hyenas were killed, including Banzai, Shenzi's brother. He died from severe injuries after the battle. Shenzi was devastated by the death of his close friend. She would never forget him. Ed, Shenzi's other close friend, comforted her. Even tough he was handicaped and was not that smart, he survived the battle. The pack's plan was to leave the Pride Lands for good. No way they return to the Elephant Graveyard. Their mission was to find a new home. A new land to live in, to raise the pack. Even though the hyenas were tired and wounded, they already started their quest to find a home. Suddenly they heard a sound. Shenzi and the pack heard roars from a long distance. Victorious roars that came from Pride Rock. Shenzi growled by hearing the lion's happiness, Ed told Shenzi, even though he could not talk, that the war with lions is past. The mission is to find a new land and have a new start. And so the hyenas left the Pride Lands and they never came back..... or would they?

So sad. I know hyenas are kind of evil but I do find simba to be unfair banishing those who also got to eat I hope they found somewhere nice for them

No matter how biased TLK is towards the lions, I will personally side with the hyenas anytime.

All the hyenas must have felt betrayed after Scar blamed them for Mufasa's death. I have always wondered: If the hyenas saw Scar as an evil King, a traitor and a coward, how would they feel about Simba??

In my fan theory, I believe after the hyenas killed scar, they have noticed that they can't trust lions anymore no matter what and decide to leave pride rock despite the few dead bodies of their clan members left behind but their memories carried with them. The hyenas don't move to the elephant grave yard. The clan splits into 3 groups, One group led by a male hyena decides to go to an area in the outlands not far from the graveyard, another group of hyenas from the clan lead by two females who decide to go near the termite mounds and that's where the second hyena group went. And the third lead by the original Matriarch Shenzi took her group wich was the most hyenas to another place far out the pridelands and past the jungle and the leopard forest(where badili lives from lion guard). They find a Savannah with all sorts of animals and remembering what happened back at pride rock they had decided they would not overhunt and take abuse of the hunting laws as their were some lions there and a few other prides who prowled the area and they did not want to get banished from there aswell. And they avoided conflict with Lions and Tried not to cause trouble.Meanwhile after SIMBAS marriage with nala and birth of kion and kiara the two hyena groups in the outlands from shenzis clan were the clans of jasiri and janja. This makes sense why they were two clans divided up. Jasiris group like shenzis decided they would obey the circle of life however one hyena group did not want to change and that was janjas clan.

Here’s what I think happened.

After the Hyenas killed and/or ate Scar, they went back to the outlands, knowing the herds had moved beyond the Pridelands in an attempt to survive. When the hyenas returned, they managed to make do with a number of the remaining herds until the Prideland ecosystem was restored, in which the herds returned to the Pridelands and things basically return to the way they started off before Scar took over.

TLDR: Hyenas leave the Pridelands and end up getting some food until the herds that left the Pridelands return and the hyenas are forced to once again scrounge around for food in the elephant graveyard.

Banzai din't die, he survives the battle at Pride Rock and run away from the Pride Lands for good, together with his siblings and clan-mates. And, somehow, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed had been seperate from their clan. Now they live a good live as the new tv hosts of a documentary program named ''Kingdom of the Creatures". The series ''Timon and Pumbaa" prove that. This is just a animatic.

I was seven years old when the Lion King hit the cinemas and well, I was hugely impressed by this movie, of course (don't know any kid who wasn't). But also - I instantly sided with the hyenas. I didn't even know hyenas existed before I saw the movie, but with the first time seeing it, they became one of my favourite animals (and they still are - hyenas are just amazing!). In the following years I drew a lot of Lion King-inspired pictures, mostly showing hyenas, I wrote an article about hyenas for my school magazine and I even wrote my own version of "hyenas after the Lion King" - it ended with the hyenas conquering the pride land from Simba's son... :D
When the Lion King 2 came out and didn't feature any hyenas, I was quite disappointed, because me too wanted to know what happend to my favourites. I like your version, though. It's sad, but heartwarming and shows Shenzi as what she actually is... a caring matriarch, who leads her people through some rough times. :) Nicely done!

I can’t believe that the lions banished the hyenas from the pride lands and also hyenas can eat the dead animals
And with them not around the pride lands is gonna get flooded with dead bodies and the alpha male hyena died some how R.I.P. and one like one prayer that they will be treated kindly

Actually, all three of them survived and Banzai isn't Shenzi's brother. He's just a friend of hers. But still this is a very good Animatic! :)

I’m trying not to cry! Banzi dead and Sheniz and Ed have to deal with it! I like it though I just love the hyenas they are my favorite characters! I want to hug all of them now
