Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for everything you do. I am a CCT Paramedic so I just pretend to be an RT when I am taking care of my patients. The Knowledge you pass on has increased my abilities, understanding and functionality. I pass on your content to all my coworkers whenever I can, (practicing RTs included). We are so lucky to get such knowledge for free. Thank you

I am so happy you're still making videos!! I've been watching for 4 years now.. From when I was an ICU nurse and now in anesthesia school. Thank you so much!! Love learning the WHYs!!! Glad you caught that EtCO2 dropping. Intraop, when the EtCO2 suddenly drops, the majority of the time, the BP has dropped from the anesthesia so cycling the blood pressure is an instinctively first step to rule out causes :) And guys, if you haven't bought his merch, I recommend it! I bought the tshirt and it's so comfy!

This video caused me a bit of confusion as the area in the blood vessel returning to the lungs to drop off CO2 isn't that PvCO2? I always was confused by PaCO2 and PvCO2 and now we have EtCO2. If you could do a representation of all three that would be helpful.

Could your example also mean the patient has a PE?
