Matt from @Midwestlacrossestrings demonstrates how to use a topstring to attach leathers to the scoop to create a removable pocket. Sidewalls are also demonstrated as well as attaching the leathers to the shaft as a method of starting the stringing flat. The next video will feature stringing the crosslace into the pocket

odd ball question. what's the reason that you put a "removable" string with the leathers at the top? is it just to make it easier to remove the pocket at some point? or does it serve some other benefit? just curious because i usually don't use a string there; i put the leathers directly in their slots at the top of the head.... thanks!
