Helvetica is that guy that everybody that doesn't know him likes. Like that one popular kid that you know is annoying, but everybody loves them.

Comic Sans is a 40 year old man-child. He hasn't mentally aged since 4th grade, but somehow got a job where you work. Now you have to deal with him every day and you really don't want to.
Courier is a grandpa who refuses to give up his typewriter. He also has model trains.
Gotham is a generic 40 something who wears a collared shirt and khakis every day.
Even on his day off.
Rockwell is Mik Jagger. He's a true rock star. Sure he's aged a bit, and had some ups and downs, but he's still cooler than you. One look gives you a feeling for a decade you never knew, and suddenly you know that all the new kids are just fakers.
Helvetia is the quiet, pretty, introverted personal assistant to a rock star. She cleans up nice, and can get a modeling jig once and a while, but usually supports someone more flashy. She works hard and does talk much, but she's good with it.

But that's just my opinion.

It's interesting how we base our opinions on both the look and name of the typeface. Great video - love the idea!

can you do a part 3 with my favorite typeface which is Futura. I am a bit obsessed with futura and I'm not really sure why, would love to hear others describe Futura.

They are judging the fonts by the names: "Comic sans is like a funny guy", "Gotham is quite Batman". Uninteresting. Very bad descriptions.
