Показать описание
UWC South East Asia (UWCSEA) has two campuses in Singapore and is one of 17 UWC schools and colleges in the global UWC movement. Our mission is use education as a means to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
Founded in 2008, UWCSEA's East Campus is located in Tampines, a fast-developing northeastern hub near Changi Airport. The K-12 student body has access to state of the art facilities, and the purpose-built campus has been recognised for both sustainable and universal design since its opening in 2011.
There are 2,550 students, the majority of whom are day students who live with their families in Singapore. Around 160 boarders (in Grades 8-12), including 40+ scholars live in Tampines House, a residential boarding house on the school grounds.
The campus welcomes students from around 75 nationalities, who speak around 60 different languages. Although the language of instruction is English, the campus offers a structured EAL/ESL programme for students from Grade 6 and above and all students take a second language. EAL students can be accommodated from Infant School.
UWCSEA East is an IB World School, CIS/WASC Accredited School and also part of the Round Square movement.
