We used to have a Dobermann when I was a kid, he has been the most intelligent dog we ever had in our family, he has been like a nanny for my little brother very gentle and patient dog ... most things we didn't even need to teach him because he already knew... for example he used to wait outside the open front door until some of us told him to get inside ! He could stay outside for hours even under the rain until some of us told him to get inside ...Unbelievable nobody taught that but he already knew ... to walk beside me without pulling and to stop when I stopped walking... we didn't teach him but it was already inside him ... and many things more .
my brother was 3 -4 yo when we got him and my lil brother used to ride him like a horse or jump on him, hug him put his hands in his bowl etc... this dog was so patient and he understood that my brother was a " human cub " .
my mom didn't want another dog in our house after ARGO passed away due she was so heartbroken... we miss ARGO
I hope We will get another dobermann one day
